Refund Policy

This policy explains when and how you can get a refund for JustHoney.ai subscriptions and Nectar pack purchases. It is part of our Terms of Service. Consumers in the EU, EEA, and United Kingdom have additional statutory rights described below, which this policy does not limit.

At a Glance
- EU/EEA/UK consumers: you have 14 days to withdraw from your first purchase, unless you have expressly consented to immediate access and started using paid features.
- All users: we may grant a goodwill refund within 48 hours of initial purchase if you have barely used the account (fewer than 50 messages sent, fewer than 5 image or video generations, 80%+ of granted Nectar remaining).
- Nectar packs are fully refundable within 24 hours only if none of the Nectar from that pack has been spent.
- Renewals (monthly or annual) are not refundable — cancel at any time to stop future charges.
- Cancellation is free and immediate via your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
EU/EEA & UK — Statutory Withdrawal Right
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from your contract with us within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving any reason. This right is granted by Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights Directive) and, in the UK, by the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
This 14-day withdrawal right applies to:
- Your first Premium subscription purchase (HONEY, MANUKA, or ROYAL JELLY)
- Your first Nectar pack purchase
- Any renewal where we failed to give you clear pre-contractual information about the renewal date, amount, and cancellation procedure
To exercise this right, send us an unambiguous statement of your decision to withdraw within the 14-day window, by:
- Emailing support@justhoney.ai with the subject line “Withdrawal from contract”, or
- Using the cancellation button in your account settings and choosing “Withdraw from contract”.
We will reimburse all payments received from you, using the same payment method you used for the initial transaction, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, subject to the partial-use deduction described below.
Loss of Withdrawal Right (Art. 16(m) CRD)
JustHoney.ai supplies digital content not on a tangible medium (AI companion messages, image and video generations, Nectar). Under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the 14-day withdrawal right is lost once performance has begun, but only if all of the following are true:
- You have given your prior express consent at checkout, by ticking an unchecked consent box, for us to begin providing the digital content immediately.
- You have expressly acknowledged that by doing so you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal for content already consumed.
- We have sent you an order confirmation email reproducing this acknowledgment (durable-medium confirmation under Art. 8(7) CRD).
If any of these conditions is missing, your full 14-day withdrawal right remains intact and we will refund you in full regardless of usage.
Partial-Use Refunds
If you exercise your 14-day withdrawal right after performance has begun with your express consent, you are liable for a proportionate amount corresponding to the services actually supplied to you up to the point of withdrawal, in accordance with Article 14(4)(b) CRD. We calculate this as:
- Subscriptions: pro-rata for days elapsed since the subscription started
- Nectar packs: (Nectar spent from that pack ÷ Nectar granted) × pack price
The remainder is refunded to your original payment method.
Goodwill Refunds (All Users)
Separately from statutory rights, we may grant a goodwill refund for a first-time subscription or Nectar pack purchase if all of the following are true:
- Your request is made within 48 hours of the initial purchase
- Fewer than 50 messages have been exchanged on the account since purchase
- Fewer than 5 image or video generations have been made
- At least 80% of the granted Nectar from the purchase remains unspent
- Payment was made via a reversible method (credit or debit card)
- No previous goodwill refund has been granted on this account
Goodwill refunds are discretionary and not an entitlement. For annual plans, the window is extended to 7 days or 10% of the billing period, whichever is sooner.
Nectar Packs
Nectar is a virtual in-app currency used to power messages, image generations, and video generations. Nectar packs are one-time purchases and are treated as digital content under Art. 2(11) CRD.
- Unused packs: fully refundable within 24 hours of purchase if zero Nectar from the pack has been spent
- Partially used packs (EU/UK): subject to the partial-use deduction above if you exercise your statutory withdrawal right
- Bonus and daily Nectar granted as part of a subscription tier is not separately refundable
Auto-Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the price disclosed at the time of purchase. We will send you a reminder email at least 14 days before each renewal, containing the renewal date, amount, and a direct cancellation link.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings with a single click. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then. Renewals that have already been processed are not refundable, unless (a) you are an EU/EEA/UK consumer and we failed to send the pre-renewal reminder, or (b) the goodwill criteria above are met.
What Is Not Refundable
Outside the statutory withdrawal rights above, refunds are generally not issued for:
- Dissatisfaction with companion personalities, image quality, or AI responses
- Accidental renewals of a subscription you forgot to cancel in time
- Changes in personal circumstances or loss of interest
- Nectar that has been spent on messages, images, or videos
- Purchases made via crypto, gift card, or any non-reversible payment method
- Accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service
- Technical issues on the user’s side (device, network, payment provider)
How to Request a Refund
Email support@justhoney.ai from the email address registered to your account. Include:
- Your transaction ID (visible in account settings or on your receipt)
- The date of purchase
- Whether you are exercising a statutory withdrawal right or requesting a goodwill refund
- A brief reason (optional for statutory withdrawal, required for goodwill requests)
We respond to all refund requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
Chargebacks
Please contact support@justhoney.ai before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Statutory withdrawal cannot be refused, so there is no reason to bypass our support team on eligible requests.
Unjustified chargebacks filed on non-refundable items (such as renewals you were clearly notified of, or Nectar that has been fully consumed) may result in suspension of your account pending resolution. We retain transaction logs and usage records to dispute fraudulent chargebacks with our payment processor.

Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory consumer rights under EU, EEA, or UK law. Where this policy conflicts with local mandatory law, local law prevails.
